Use: Medicinal

Properties: Salt and bitter; cold.

Actions and indications: Clears heat and resolves toxin; expels pus, and promotes lactation. Treats swelling pain sores and welling-abscesses (yōng); mastitis; breast milk stoppage; lymphoid tuberculosis; hemorrhoids and fistulas.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (4.5–9g).
