Actions and indications: Settles pain, relieves cough, disinhibits water and disperses swelling; quickens the blood and resolves toxin. Treats stomach pain; toothache;
Dosage and method: Oral: 3–9g (decoct); can be made into pills or steeped in wine. Topical: Apply crushed to decoct as a wash.
Production area: Most parts of China.
