Properties: Bitter and acrid; warm.

Actions and indications: Normalizes qì and relieves pain; resolves snake venom. Treats qì pain in stomach; sand (shā); abdominal pain; diarrhea; snake bites.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (6–15g) or grind to powder (1.5–4.5g). Topical: Grind and apply mixed.
