Use: Medicinal

Properties: Bitter acrid; slightly warm; slightly toxic.

Actions and indications: Dispels wind and dampness; disperses stasis and relieves pain. Treats rheumatic arthritis; pain in the lumbus and thigh; stasis pain due to external injury.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (9–12g dried, 15–30g fresh) or steep in wine.

Production area: Yúnnán, Guǎngxī, Guǎngdōng.
