Properties: Sweet and acrid*; warm*.

Actions and indications: Stanches bleeding; joins bone; frees menstruation and quickens the network vessels.* Treats digestive tract bleeding; bleeding from external injury; injury from knocks and falls; bone fractures.

Dosage and method: Oral: Grind to a powder (0.3–0.6g). Topical: Grind to a powder and apply blended with liquid.
