Actions and indications: Clears heat, quickens the blood, and resolves toxin. Treats painful dry throat; injury from knocks and falls; taxation damage; wind-damp lumbar and leg pain; swollen boils.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (3–6g) or steep in wine. Topical: Apply crushed.
