Use: Medicinal

Properties: Bitter; balanced; toxic.

Actions and indications: Quickens the blood and disperses stasis. Treats injury from knocks and falls; sores and scab (jiè); swollen boils; amenorrhea.

Dosage and method: Topical: Decoct as a wash or apply ground and blended with liquid. Oral: Decoct (0.3–0.9g).

Warnings: This item is toxic. Use orally with care.
