Properties: Bitter and acrid^✽; slightly warm^✽; slightly toxic.^✽

Actions and indications: Quickens the blood and disperses stasis; dispels wind and resolves toxin. Treats injury from knocks and falls; bone fractures; pain in the lumbus and thigh; common cold; vaginal discharge; swollen boils; itchy skin.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (6–15g) or steep in wine. Topical: Apply crushed or decoct as a wash.
