Product Description: This product comes from different sources and varies considerably. It is not always clear what animal it comes from. The penis is cylindrical, about 28–32 cm long and 1.2 cm thick. It tapers at the tip and has a bulbous base. It has shrunken with irregular furrows, and 1 single longitudinal protruding sinew. It is yellowish brown in color with black speckles and patches. The testicles are yellow, semitranslucent, and shiny, each with a yellow, semitranslucent sperm duct attached.
Quality: The best quality is long, hard, semitranslucent and without any fishy smell.

Etymology: The name hǎi gǒu shèn 海狗肾 literally means sea dog's kidney,
the word shèn 肾, kidney, being a euphemism for the genitals.
