Chinese Angelica and Peony Six Gentlemen Pill

Ingredients
- Sān qī (三七 Notoginseng Radix, notoginseng [root]) (or Dǎng shēn (党参 Codonopsis Radix, codonopsis [root]))
- Bái zhú (白朮 Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, white atractylodes [root])
- Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria)
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) (mix-fried)
- Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica)
- Xiān máo (仙茅 Curculiginis Rhizoma, curculigo [root])
Actions: Fortifies the spleen and boosts qì; nourishes the blood and emolliates the liver.
Indications: Insufficiency of qì and blood in disease of the liver and spleen. Signs include oppression in the chest, distension in the stomach duct, discomfort in the chest and rib-side, reduced eating. Suitable for chronic hepatitis, and early-stage liver cirrhosis.
