Ingredients

• Shú dì huáng (熟地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, cooked rehmannia [root]) 30g
• Bái zhú (白朮 Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, white atractylodes [root]) 30g
• Sān qī (三七 Notoginseng Radix, notoginseng [root]) 9g
• Huáng qí (黄芪 Astragali Radix, astragalus [root]) 9g
• Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 15g
• Pào jiāng (炮姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum, blast-fried ginger) 6g

Actions: Supplements the blood, boosts qì, and stanches bleeding.

Indications: Sudden profuse or flooding and spotting or persistent from failure of the spleen to manage the blood. The blood is pale and watery and accompanying signs include pale white facial complexion, water swelling, shortness of breath, and oppression in the chest. Tongue: Pale and enlarged with dental impressions. Pulse: Fine and forceless.

Method: Decoct with water.
