Category:
Method: Decoct with water.
Rationale: Táo rén, Chì sháo, and Niú xī quicken the blood and dispel stasis. Hòu pò and Mù xiāng move qì and loosen the center. Gān suì and Dà huáng are offensive precipitants that expel water. The qì-moving and blood-quickening agents enhance offensive precipitation, while the offensive precipitation helps the movement of qì and blood, and the restoration or normal intestinal function.
