Ingredients

• Zǐ hé chē (紫河车 Hominis Placenta, placenta) 1 piece
• Shú dì huáng (熟地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, cooked rehmannia [root]) 60g
• 酒茴香 60g
• Jiǔ huáng bǎi (酒黄柏 Phellodendri Cortex cum Vino Praeparatum, wine-processed phellodendron [bark]) 60g
• Bái zhú (白朮 Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, white atractylodes [root]) 60g
• Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) (stir-fried with wine) 45g
• Jiǔ niú xī (酒牛膝 Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix cum Vino Praeparata, wine-processed achyranthes [root]) 45g
• Tiān dōng (天冬 Asparagi Radix, asparagus [root]) 45g
• Mài dōng (麦冬 Ophiopogonis Radix, ophiopogon [root]) 45g
• Dù zhòng (杜仲 Eucommiae Cortex, eucommia [bark]) 45g
• Wǔ wèi zǐ (五味子 Schisandrae Fructus, schisandra [berry]) 21g
• Gǒu qǐ zǐ (枸杞子 Lycii Fructus, lycium [berry]) 21g
• Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel) 6g
• Gān jiāng (干姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma, dried ginger) 6g
• Cè bǎi yè (侧柏叶 Platycladi Cacumen, arborvitae leaf) 60g

Actions: Invigorates original yáng and enriches kidney water.

Indications: Sexual intemperance with vexing heat in the five hearts and vacuity taxation.

Method: Grind all the agents and make into a thick paste with placenta.

Dosage: 11 pills at a time swallowed with boiled rice water or warmed wine.
