Sal Ammoniac Pill
硇砂丸 〔硇砂丸〕 náo shā wán

Ingredients
- Mù xiāng (木香 Aucklandiae Radix, costusroot) 2 liǎng
- Chén xiāng (沉香 Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum, aquilaria [wood]) 2 liǎng

巴豆肉 2 liǎng - Tóng lǜ (铜绿 Aeris Robigo, copper rust) half liǎng
- Qīng pí (青皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride, unripe tangerine peel) 2 liǎng
- Náo shā (硇砂 Sal Ammoniacum , sal ammoniac) 1 fēn
Indications: Cold mounting (hán shàn)
Method: First, finely grate the aucklandia, aquilaria, and unripe tangerine peel. Stir-fry with the croton over a slow fire until the color changes to purple. Then, remove the the croton and grind finely, add the sal ammoniac and copper rust. Steam as a cake, and form into pills the size of firmiana seeeds.
Dosage: Take 7 to 10 pills on an empty stomach, swallowed with brine.
