Ingredients:

• Qīng dài (青黛 Indigo Naturalis , indigo)
• Huáng bǎi (黄柏 Phellodendri Cortex, phellodendron [bark])
• Rén zhōng bái (人中白 Hominis Urinae Sedimentum, urine sediment)
• Bò hé (薄荷 Menthae Herba, mint)
• 孩儿茶
• Bīng piàn (冰片 Borneolum , borneol)

Action: Clears heat and resolves toxin; disperses swelling and relieves pain.

Indication: Painful swollen throat; baby moth; gān of the teeth and gums with bleeding; mouth sores.

Category:

Method: Grind separately and grind again together. Blow onto the affected area.

Rationale: Another version of the formula, which has the same effects, has Huáng lián instead of Huáng bǎi, and has added Gān cǎo and Péng shā.
