Ingredients:

• Rǔ xiāng (乳香 Olibanum , frankincense) (with oil removed) 30g
• Mò yào (没药 Myrrha , myrrh) (with oil removed) 30g
• Xióng huáng (雄黄 Realgar , realgar) 15g
• Shè xiāng (麝香 Moschus , musk) 4.5g
• Huáng mǐ fàn (黄米饭 Setariae Semen Conquitum, cooked millet) 30g

Action: Disperses swelling and relieves pain.

Indication: Hard red painful welling-abscess (yōng). Use with caution in pregnancy.

Category: External medicine formulas

Method: Pound and form into pills the size of radish seeds (lái fú zǐ), sun-dry (do not oven-dry).

Dosage: 9g at a time. Take with enough vintage rice wine to produce mild inebriation and wrap up well to sweat.
