Nine-Ingredient Areca Decoction
九味槟榔汤 〔九味檳榔湯〕 jiǔ wèi bīng láng tāng

Ingredients
- Dà fù pí (大腹皮 Arecae Pericarpium, areca husk) 4g
- Hòu pò (厚朴 Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, officinal magnolia bark) 3g
- Guì zhī (桂枝 Cinnamomi Ramulus, cinnamon twig) 3g
- Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel) 3g
- Dà huáng (大黄 Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, rhubarb) 1g
- Mù xiāng (木香 Aucklandiae Radix, costusroot) 1g
- Zǐ sū yè (紫苏叶 Perillae Folium, perilla leaf) 1g
- Gān jiāng (干姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma, dried ginger) 1g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 1g
Indications: Leg qì (jiǎo qì) with water swelling and glomus in the heart [region] and abdomen.
Method: Decoct with water.
