Ingredients:

• Lián xū (莲须 Nelumbinis Stamen, lotus stamen) 2g
• Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root]) 2g
• Zhū líng (猪苓 Polyporus , polyporus) 2g
• Yì zhì rén (益智仁 Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Fructus, alpinia [fruit]) 1g
• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 1g
• Shā rén (砂仁 Amomi Fructus, amomum [fruit]) 1g
• Huáng bǎi (黄柏 Phellodendri Cortex, phellodendron [bark]) 1g
• Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) 1g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) (mix-fried)

Action: Clears heat and disinhibits dampness; boosts qì and secures essence.

Indication: Damp-heat in the stomach percolating down to the bladder with persistent turbid discharge, seminal emission, and white turbidity of the urine. In modern clinical practice, it is used for cystitis, urethritis, and chronic prostatitis manifesting in the above signs.
