Chuānxiōng and Asarum Phlegm-Abducting Decoction
芎辛导痰汤 〔芎辛導痰湯〕 xiōng xīn dǎo tán tāng

Ingredients
- Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome]) 4.5g
- Xì xīn (细辛 Asari Rhizoma et Radix, asarum) 4.5g
- Tiān nán xīng (天南星 Arisaematis Rhizoma, arisaema [root]) 4.5g
- Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel) 4.5g
- Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 4.5g
- Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) 6g
- Zhǐ ké (qiào) (枳壳 Aurantii Fructus, bitter orange) (stir-fried) 3g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 3g
- Shēng jiāng (生姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, fresh ginger) 7 slices
Indications: Phlegm reversal headache.
Method: Decoct with water.
