Ingredients

• Chái hú (柴胡 Bupleuri Radix, bupleurum [root]) 6–9g
• Mù xiāng (木香 Aucklandiae Radix, costusroot) 3–6g
• Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel) 3–6g
• Zhǐ ké (qiào) (枳壳 Aurantii Fructus, bitter orange) 6–9g
• Shā rén (砂仁 Amomi Fructus, amomum [fruit]) 3–6g
• Bái dòu kòu (白豆蔻 Amomi Fructus Rotundus, cardamom) 3–6g
• Hòu pò (厚朴 Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, officinal magnolia bark) 6–9g
• Chén xiāng (沉香 Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum, aquilaria [wood]) 3–6g
• Yán hú suǒ (延胡索 Corydalis Rhizoma, corydalis [rhizome]) 3–6g
• Chuān liàn zǐ (川楝子 Toosendan Fructus, toosendan [fruit]) 3–6g
• Jiāng huáng (姜黄 Curcumae Longae Rhizoma, turmeric) 3–6g
• Xiān máo (仙茅 Curculiginis Rhizoma, curculigo [root]) 6–9g
• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 6–9g

Actions: Soothes the liver, rectifies qì and relieves pain.

Indications: Binding depression of liver qì with rib-side pain, inability to taste food, and indigestion. Tongue fur: White or yellow and slimy. Pulse: Tight or stringlike.

Dosage: 1 pill twice a day.
