Fresh Ginger and Pinellia Decoction
生姜半夏汤 〔生薑半夏湯〕 shēng jiāng bàn xià tāng
Source: Jīn Guì Yào Lüè 金匮要略
Ingredients
- Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) 8g
- Jiāng zhī (姜汁 Zingiberis Rhizomatis Succus, ginger juice) 20g
Actions: Frees binds and checks vomiting.
Indications:
Method: Boil pinellia in 120 ml water, and reduce to 80 ml Add ginger juice and reduce to 60 ml.
