Ingredients

• Cāng zhú (苍朮 Atractylodis Rhizoma, atractylodes [rhizome])
• Gǎo běn (藁本 Ligustici Rhizoma, Chinese lovage [root])
• Bái zhǐ (白芷 Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, Dahurian angelica)
• Xì xīn (细辛 Asari Rhizoma et Radix, asarum)
• Qiāng huó (羌活 Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, notopterygium [root])
• Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome])
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root])

Actions: Resolves the exterior and transforms dampness.

Indications: External contraction of wind-cold-damp with heat effusion with aversion to cold, headache and stiff nape, and painful aching limbs.

Method: Add fresh ginger and scallion white if made as a decoction.
