清空膏 〔清空膏〕 qīng kōng gāo

Ingredients
- Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome]) 15g
- Chái hú (柴胡 Bupleuri Radix, bupleurum [root]) 21g
- Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root]) (stir-fried) 30g
- Fáng fēng (防风 Saposhnikoviae Radix, saposhnikovia) 30g
- Qiāng huó (羌活 Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, notopterygium [root]) 30g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) (mix-fried) 15g
- Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root]) 60g
Indications: Wind-damp-heat congesting the eyes or hemilateral headache and medial headache that has persisted for years.
Method: Grind to powder.
Dosage: 6g at a time drenched with water.
