Spleen-Arousing Pill1
启脾丸1 〔啟脾丸1〕 qǐ pí wán1

Ingredients
- Sān qī (三七 Notoginseng Radix, notoginseng [root]) 30g
- Bái zhú (白朮 Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, white atractylodes [root]) 30g
- Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel) 30g
- Qīng pí (青皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride, unripe tangerine peel) (with flesh removed) 30g
- Shén qū (神曲 Massa Medicata Fermentata , medicated leaven) (stir-fried) 30g
- Mài yá (麦芽 Hordei Fructus Germinatus, barley sprout) (stir-fried) 30g
- Shā rén (砂仁 Amomi Fructus, amomum [fruit]) 30g
- Hòu pò (厚朴 Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, officinal magnolia bark) 30g
- Gān jiāng (干姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma, dried ginger) 30g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) (mix-fried) 45.g
Indications: Spleen-stomach disharmony, qì failing to bear up or downward, center fullness and glomus blockage, distension in the heart [region] and abdomen, rumbling intestines, diarrhea, and no thought of food and drink.
Method: Grind, blend with honey and form into pills the size of marbles.
Dosage: One pill before meals swallowed with boiled rice water.
