Ingredients

• Chán chú (蟾蜍 Bufo Siccus , dried toad) 5 pieces
• Hè shī (鹤虱 Carpesii Fructus, carpesium seed) 6g
• Hú huáng lián (胡黄连 Picrorhizae Rhizoma, picrorhiza [root]) 9g
• Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root]) 9g
• Ròu dòu kòu (肉豆蔻 Myristicae Semen, nutmeg) (roasted) 9g
• Kǔ liàn gēn pí (苦楝根皮 Meliae Radicis Cortex, chinaberry root bark) 9g
• Léi wán (雷丸 Omphalia , omphalia) 9g
• Shēng lú huì (生芦荟 Aloe Recens, raw aloe) 9g
• Wú yí (芜荑 Ulmi Fructus Praeparatio, elm cake) 9g
• Xióng huáng (雄黄 Realgar , realgar)

Indications: Child kidney gān with emaciation to the bone like dried sticks, soot black facial complexion, bleeding gums, foul mouth odor, icy cold limbs, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, and constant night crying.

Method: Grind, blend with flour paste, and form into pills the size of mung beans. Coat with realgar.
