Source: Zhèng Yīn Mài Zhì 症因脉治

Ingredients

• Sāng bái pí (桑白皮 Mori Cortex, mulberry bark)
• Dì gǔ pí (地骨皮 Lycii Cortex, lycium bark)
• Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel)
• Shí gāo (石膏 Gypsum Fibrosum, gypsum)
• Jié gěng (桔梗 Platycodonis Radix, platycodon [root])
• Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root])
• Zhī mǔ (知母 Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, anemarrhena [root])
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root])

Indications: Pulmonary distension due to contraction of heat evil, characterized by panting with inability to lie flat, shortness of breath短息倚肩,抬身撷肚, back and shoulder pain radiating into the supraclavicular fossa, and a rapid floating pulse.

Method: Grind to a rough powder, and decoct with water.
