Source: Wài Tái Mì Yào 外台秘要

Ingredients:

• Huáng qí (黄芪 Astragali Radix, astragalus [root]) 30g
• Mài dōng (麦冬 Ophiopogonis Radix, ophiopogon [root]) 15g
• Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 15g
• Tiān huā fěn (天花粉 Trichosanthis Radix, trichosanthes root) 18g
• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 6g
• Wǔ wèi zǐ (五味子 Schisandrae Fructus, schisandra [berry]) 3g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 3g.Jianming966(组成), 外台秘要黄芪汤组成非此(PRAC出处写外台)

Action:

Indication: Dispersion-thirst (xiāo kě) with large fluid intake and urination, murky urine, thirst, marked emaciation, and rapid pulse.
