Congealing yīn cold
阴寒凝结 〔陰寒凝結〕 yīn hán níng jié
A cold pattern arising from debilitation of yáng qì and stagnation of cold evil. Signs include somber-white facial complexion, aversion to cold and desire for warmth, lack of warmth in the limbs, abdominal pain and bound stool, menstrual irregularities, and local hypertonicity and pain. Enduring cold impediment hán bì and yīn flat-abscess yīn jū also fall within the scope of congealing yīn cold.
