Medicinal therapy: greater yīn (tài yīn) cold strike is treated with Stomach-Calming Poria Five Decoction (胃苓汤 wèi líng tāng) or Aconite Center-Rectifying Decoction (附子理中汤 fù zǐ lǐ zhōng tāng). lesser yīn (shào yīn) is treated with formulas like True Warrior Decoction (真武汤 zhēn wǔ tāng). reverting yīn (jué yīn) is treated with formulas such as Chinese Angelica Counterflow Cold Decoction (当归四逆汤 dāng guī sì nì tāng) or Vessel-Freeing Counterflow Cold Decoction (通脉四逆汤 tōng mài sì nì tāng).
