Yīn exuberance with yáng vacuity

阴盛阳虚 〔陰盛陽虛〕 yīn shèng yáng xū

Exuberant internal yīn cold with resulting debilitation of yáng qì characterized by signs such as aversion to cold, cold limbs, diarrhea, water swelling, and pale glossy tongue. A pulse that is small at the superficial level and replete and large at the deep level reflects the yáng vacuity and yīn cold respectively.
