Wind epilepsy

风痫 〔風癇〕 fēng xián

1. Epilepsy characterized by tremor of the extremities, shaking of the head, and clenched jaw.

2. A condition occurring in febrile disease, equivalent to fright wind.

3. Child epilepsy characterized by highly varied signs.

4. Convulsions due to externally contracted wind evil. See epilepsy.
