阴阳离决，精气乃绝 〔陰陽離決，精氣乃絕〕yīn yáng lí jué, jīng qì nǎi jué
Yīn and yáng are rooted in each other. When they are cut off from each other or deprived of each other, they separate and expire, and the individual dies.
