Upbearing and stirring
升动 〔升動〕shēng dòng
The movement of liver yáng. When liver yīn-blood (or liver-kidney yīn humor) is depleted, upstirring of liver yáng is unchecked. The resulting pattern is called ascendant hyperactivity of liver yáng.
Etymology
Chinese: 升 shēng, rise, bear upward; 动 dòng, move, stir.
