Stomach duct

胃脘 〔胃脘〕 wèi wǎn

脘〔脘〕wǎn

The stomach cavity and adjoining sections of the small intestine and gullet. The stomach duct is divided into the upper, center, and lower stomach ducts.

Etymology

Chinese: 脘 pronounced as wǎn or guǎn, the stomach as a physical organ. In pre-modern literature, the character is sometimes written as 管 guǎn, tube pipe.
