Spleen stores provisioning

脾藏营 〔脾藏營〕 pí cáng yíng

From The Magic Pivot (灵枢 líng shū, běn shén). Provisioning is the essential qì that flows in the vessels; it is generated from grain and water (food), has its source in the spleen and stomach, and has the function of engendering blood; hence provisioning and blood are often referred to together. The Classic of Difficult Issues (难经 nàn jīng, 42) states The spleen... governs the containment of blood. This means that the spleen has the function of storing and containing the blood.
