Spleen pulse is moderate

脾脉缓 〔脾脈緩〕pí mài huǎn

A moderate pulse, a pulse of four beats per respiration; it is neither floating nor sunken, neither large nor small, neither slow nor racing, neither faint nor weakand is harmonious and forceful. The Inner Classic (内经 nèi jīng, xuān míng wǔ qì piān) states, The spleen pulse is changing. The word changing (代 dài) is interpreted to mean harmonious and soft, but changing with the seasons (stringlike in spring, surging in summer, floating in autumn, and sunken and hard in winter). This notion also also thought to be implied by term Thus the spleen pulse is often described as moderate.
