Skipping pulse
促脉 〔促脈〕cù mài
Also rapid irregularly interrupted pulse. A pulse that is urgent and forceful and that pauses at irregular intervals. It indicates: a) exuberant heat repletion; b) blood, qì, phlegm, or food stagnation; or c) painful swelling. See pulse condition.
