Six qì

六气 〔六氣〕liù qì

1. From Plain Questions (素问 sù wèn, tiān yuán jì dà lùn). Six environmental phenomena, wind, cold, summerheat, dampness, dryness, and fire, which in excess are believed to cause disease and as such are known as the six excesses.

2. Essence, qì, liquid, humor, blood, and vessels (or pulse).
