Great overeating damages the spleen; great anger and qì counterflow damages the liver; exertion or lifting heavy weights and long sitting on wet ground damages the kidney; cold in the body and cold drinks damage the lung; anxiety, worry, and thought and cogitation damage the heart; wind, rain, cold, and summerheat damage the body; great fear damages the mind.
