Callus
胼胝 〔胼胝〕pián zhī
A thickening and hardening of the skin on protuberant parts of the feet that arises when long-term pressure and friction from footwear causes local blockage of qì and blood depriving the skin of nourishment. It is unclearly circumscribed and may range in color from white or yellow to brown.
