Qì street
气街 〔氣街〕qì jiē
1. A pathway along which qì flows. There are four qì streets in the body. The chest has a qì street; the abdomen has a qì street; the head has a qì street; the lower leg has a qì street.
2. The area of the pulsating vessel in the groin. It is said, for example, that the yáng brightness (yáng míng) stomach channel descends from the supraclavicular, down the inner face of the breast, and past the umbilicus to enter the qì street.
