Postmeridian tidal heat
午后潮热 〔午後潮熱〕wǔ hòu cháo rè
Tidal heat effusion occurring any time after midday. Postmeridian tidal heat is usually a sign of yīn vacuity, but a vigorous heat [effusion] that becomes more pronounced at roughly 3–5 p.m., called late afternoon tidal heat, is associated with yáng brightness (yáng míng) interior repletion patterns.
