Picking at bedclothes
循衣摸床 〔循衣摸床〕xún yī mō chuáng
Also carphology. An aimless plucking at bedclothes observed in an extreme stage of disease. It occurs notably in extreme yáng brightness (yáng míng) heat with heat effusion and clouded spirit. Compare groping in the air and pulling at invisible strings.
