Border of the red and white flesh

赤白肉际 〔赤白肉際〕 chì bái ròu jì

The division between the darker sun-tanned flesh and paler flesh of the backs of the arms and legs. The red (sun-tanned) flesh forms the yáng side, whereas the white (paler) flesh is the yīn side. The dividing line between the two represents one of the landmarks in acupuncture point location.
