Liver governs upbearing effusion

肝主升发 〔肝主升發〕 gān zhǔ shēng fā

Liver qì bears upward and outward, like the branches of a tree stretch up and out. When upbearing effusion is overly strong, signs such as headache and dizziness appear. See liver.
