The term kidney qì often specifically denotes the kidney’s governing of storage. Thus insecurity of kidney qì denotes insufficiency of kidney qì manifesting in urinary disturbances such as frequent and long voidings of clear urine, or incontinence, enuresis, and dribbling, and disturbances of the reproductive function such as seminal emission, seminal efflux, and premature ejaculation.
