Hidden pulse
伏脉 〔伏脈〕fú mài
A pulse even deeper than the sunken pulse, considerable pressure being needed to feel it. It is associated with fulminant desertion of yáng qì and deep-lying cold, and generally appears in conjunction with severe vomiting, diarrhea, and pain.
