Heat water swelling

热水肿 〔熱水腫〕rè shuǐ zhǒng

Water swelling with heat signs. It is usually due to dryness-heat damaging the lung and impairing depurative downbearing and disturbing the regulation of the waterways. It manifests in puffy swelling of the face, rough panting, distension and oppression in the chest and abdomen, thirst, heart vexation, and reddish rough urination.

Medicinal therapy: Clear the lung and disinhibit water. Use Ophiopogon Decoction (麦门冬汤 mài mén dōng tāng), Lung-Clearing Beverage (清肺饮 qīng fèi yǐn), combined with Poria Four Powder (四苓散 sì líng sǎn).
