Heart forms sweat

心为汗 〔心為汗〕 xīn wéi hàn

From Plain Questions (素问 sù wèn, xuān míng wǔ qì piān). Sweat comes from the blood, which is ruled by the heart; hence it is said that the heart forms sweat. Same in meaning as sweat is the humor of the heart. See heart governs sweat.
