Great needling
巨刺 〔巨刺〕jù cì
Also grande piqûre. One of the nine needling methods; an acupuncture method involving the deep needling of channel points on the side of the body opposite to the side affected. It is normally used to treat disease of the channels. Compare cross needling, which involves the shallow needling of network vessels on the opposite side of the body.
